A quick look at the best and worst of 2016’s viral video trends

I am currently in the process of writing a piece about what I consider the top 5 viral videos of 2016.

I would like to be clear that I am not a video historian and do not want to be in any way, shape or form the arbiter of viral videos, so I will simply be making these rankings based on what I see on the ground and what I hear from those who have made their way into the scene.

I’m not claiming to know every video I have reviewed, but I do believe I have the necessary expertise to do a fair job of compiling this list.

The list will be updated frequently with new videos as the community picks up.
