“I don’t think you would go and do anything stupid, that’s not the nature of the game.”
In an interview with the Guardian, he described his life as “a struggle” that he found hard to describe.
“I don, like many people, am a bit of a perfectionist, a bit obsessed with how I look, what I wear, where I sit in the car, the way I dress,” he said.
“But I don’t know what else to say, I can’t.
I’m not really good at describing things, it’s not my strong point, I don ‘t think I’m good at it’.” After years of failing to gain traction in the sport, the 20-year-old now lives in a “work-focused” lifestyle, working in a warehouse and working in the fields.”
When I went to university I really just wanted to learn the game.
And I got a bit lucky,” he explained.”
And then I just kind of got into it and I didn’t really know what to do with myself.”
So I think it’s hard to be a bit in between, I guess.
“That’s the thing, you’ve got to learn and grow.
It’s not just going through the motions, it has to be real, it needs to be intense, and you need to go and go out there and be the best that you can be.”
