A Trump administration official said on Monday that the White House is working on a plan to fix a balloon delivery problem in the New York metropolitan area.
Trump administration officials said that the president was briefed on the issue on Tuesday, and they are working to fix the problem that some people in New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut have reported.
But the official did not say how long it would take to fix.
Trump’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
In a tweet on Monday night, Trump called on the New Yorkers to call the White, White House and the State Department.
“This is not a good day for New Yorkers, but it is a good opportunity to call and let them know the Whitehouse is working to resolve this issue, and the United States is open to any solutions,” the president wrote.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders did not respond to requests for comment from The Hill.
