The balloon dog is a pet animal that has been the subject of controversy in New Zealand, where its popularity is so strong that it has become a national symbol of the country.
In 2014, a woman named Tiki Naidoo, who was pregnant, was left with a balloon dog in her back garden.
In May, she and her daughter were approached by a man who offered them money to buy the dog.
The man threatened to kill Tiki if she didn’t pay for it.
The woman then called the police.
They arrested the man and confiscated the balloon dog from his house.
Naidou also said that the man threatened her and her two young children with being murdered if they didn’t give up the balloon.
The New Zealand Herald reports that police are investigating whether the man had acted in self-defense.
